We have a number of 'safe' policies to help make Internet Shopping safe.  These policies protect both you and us from fraud and from junk mailers.  They are strict rules and to some extent inhibit some parts of our business.

Mailing Lists
Do you get tired of Junk Mail?  Well the team here at 'TopScot.com' certainly do.   As a result, when we built this site we decided to implement a few radical policies.

• We will not create mailing lists of our customers and email you with Special Offers!
• We will not junk mail any one.
• We will not provide your information to anyone other than is necessary to get your order to you.
• We will suspend any business associate, supplier or shop in our 'Mall' that we find breaking these rules!

Credit Card Fraud & Site Security
What can we do to prevent credit card fraud?  More than enough we hope.  We would like to hear from any one who believes we have any security issues or if there is any possible abuse of our system.  Some of these security measures actually restrict certain aspects of our business but they are in place to protect us all.

• All order details will be sent to the 'bank/credit card company' for credit clearance before shipment.
• Goods will not ship on the day of the receipt of order.  This is usually enough time to detect stolen cards and for the original owner to have reported the loss.
• Credit card details are never stored by TopScot.com.  As the bank clears or rejects any orders all credit details are instantly 'forgotten' on the TopScot.com system.  We are not aware of any method by which TopScot.com staff or  business associates can record your credit card details for later use.  This information is never recorded on our database, written down, faxed or emailed by anyone to anyone. 
• We consider our system and procedures to be very secure.
